That is extremely seldom that happens from within the E.U., Kuzuri. Was is the ordinary Danish LL from LMS (DKMA) or??
p13, what happens if you try to import (i.e. have sent to you) to Denmark, and it gets taken, one of two things will happen.
Either DKMA will determine that there is "small amount" (largest I have had a LL on, was about 100 or so tablets, nothing higher scheduled than tramadol), and send you a letter, asking you to submit any documents before they make a decision - basically, here you would do nothing. After the time, you will receive another letter from DKMA, stating that they consider your importation in violation of Law of Medicines (Lægemiddelloven; Lov om lægemidler), and that their "sentence" (they cannot sentence, they are not a court) is that you refrain from doing it again. If this is the case, the police are never involved. The package will also be sent to you as normal (however, was it a parcel which did not require signature, signature will be required), just without the meds, and with a slip from SKAT (customs), declaring what was in the package, and that they are checking it. A week or so after, you will get the first LL as noted earlier. There does not seem to be a database of their earlier LL's, however, I am in no position to know this 100%.
Or DKMA will determine that there is a "large amount" and/or "specially bad" medicine (I would think it depens on the Danish schedule, but I am not sure). If that is the case, you will not receive your package nor a letter, and DKMA will notify the police. If it is first time and the police consider it a small thing (i.e. they do not suspect you of dealing, it is up to their discretion what they do). The police will also always be contacted by DKMA if the medicines are covered by Law on some doping aids (Lov om visse dopingmidler).
I have even had DKMA split one parcel, so that I received LL for some part of the parcel (the notice did not mention the doping medicines), and the police contacted me some time after, just wanting to hear if I would talk or not.
I am extremely glad i like i DK, and not US. I wouldn't say they're lax, but they're as lax as they can get away with.
Short answer, if sent and received within the E.U., I wouldn't worry. If it's not highly scheduled, and not a largish amount, then I definately wouldn't worry.
