Yesterday i received some really nice clones in the mail sent by a very generous fellow grower
This is my first clone grow and i hope most of them makes it.
The clones are 5 Deep Chunks, 3 Sensi Star, 2 Hash Berry, 3 Sour Diesel and 2 Bubba Kush with 2 very small ones as a bonus
Heres a shot of some of the clones last night.
For rooting compound i used a powder called Floramon A 1%
When adding rooting compound i did some experimenting on a few of them
I read somewhere that ppl told they had good results using honey as a cloning gel and ppl have complained about the long rooting time of the Floramon powder compared to the rooting gel, so i decided to make my own hybrid gel with honey and powder.
On some of them ive used the honey gel at the first stem cut and only powder on the 2 next cut up the stem.
I marked those with a little h
Some of them ive used only honey gel on and they are marked with a capital H
The first shot from today is showing the 5 Deep Chunk cuttings.
The one in the back is marked H and its doing like the rest.
Not better or worse.
They all look healthy but a little thirsty.
Heres my 3 Sensi Stars.

The other 2 in the back are smaller and more thirsty looking honey clones.
2 Hash Berry clones
The honey clone on the left looks very thirsty
3 Sour Diesel clones
they all look thirsty but the one in front looks ok
the 2 other im very worried about.
Last but not least my Bubba Kush clones
I recieved it actually as one branch but it looked so well developed that i decided to cut it into 2 and use the top as a separate clone also.
While making the cuts i was left with 2 small small branches i decided to give a chance also as i was going to ditch them with the leave cut of anyway.
They where dipped with the honey gel and put straight into the soil.
They have no stems so i dont have high hopes for them rooting, but sofar they look ok
About the honey gel
Its too early to tell for sure but except from the DC and Bubba clones the honey clones are doing worse than the clones only with normal powder so im definatly not going to use it again.
Im going to use the clones for my indoor breeding project this winter where im going to make crosses with local Danish early weather resistant strains.
I also have a upcoming project going where ppl can suggest a cross for our local seedbank and later the must suggested crosses will be bread this fall and winter and donated to the DCF seedbank for use outdoor next season by Danish cannabis farmers.
for this project ive bought and swapped many seeds and also had some really nice donations from kind and generous fellow growers.
